United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
The actions set out in the Landfill sector plan contribute towards twelve of the UN Sustainable Development Goals numbers 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17.
Goal 14 is focussed on life in the water, protection of good water quality for underwater flora and fauna. The other sdg's are necessary to create a healthy Blue Economy based on the environment, economics and social.
